She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Reverend John Henry Coates and Josie Arbutus Coates. She was also cherished by 3 children and 5 grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Suitland (5400 Silver Hill Rd, District Heights, MD 20747).
