She is survived by: her children, Michael McGowan (Jody), Maura Gordy (Sam), Kathleen McGowan, Ellen McGowan, Brendan McGowan (Meredith) and Ann Redgate (Chris); her grandchildren, Brendan, James, Colin Gordy, Courtney, Cailtin Katz, Norah, Henry Redgate, Mary Claire, Will McGowan, Elle, Charlie and Patrick McGowan; her sister Virginia Gaine of Bryn Mawr, PA; and her sister-in-law Marybeth Gaine of Waterford, VA..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament (5949 Western Ave, Washington, DC 20015). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
