He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Cooper-Murdock (John), Antonio Cooper (Denise) and Stephanie Brunt; his grandchildren, Adom Cooper (Christina), Gyasi Cooper (Morgan), Nneka Brunt and John Murdock III; his great grandchildren, Zaila Cooper and Genesis Cooper; and his sister Alice Cooper-Lee. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
