He was predeceased by : his parents, Catherine Marie Long and Phillip Cornell Long; and his brother Phillip'Sony'Long. He is survived by : his children, Christopher Hatcher (Charmaine) and Chiquita Calhoun Long (James Calhoun); his grandchildren, Devon Tucker, Dionna Long, Skiylar Calhoun and Siyere Calhoun; his great grandchild Patience Tucker; and his sisters, Katherine Fowler, Yvonne Rhodes and Marvel Brown. He is also survived by nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews, extended family & friends.

A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Corinth Baptist Church (814 Cypresstree Dr, Capitol Heights, MD 20743).
