She is survived by: her children, John, III (Rashida) and Brandie; her friends, Fikre and Rose; her husband John Jr.; her siblings, Barbara Ann Mays (Horace), Sandra Nabinett, Rodney Ridout and Robin Toliver (Mark); her sister-in-law Joan Johnson-Ridout; her grandchildren, John IV, Brandon, Bra'Nae, Janiyah, Jaylen, Shania and Audrey; her great grandchild John V; and her grandchild Kai. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
During the COVID-19 pandemic she made and personalized immunization card holders for her family and friends.
