She is survived by: her daughter Wanda M. Barnes; her grandson Dwayne Lawson-Brown; and her great grandchild Darius Lawson-Brown. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Emmanuel Baptist Church (2409 Ainger Pl SE, Washington, DC 20020). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
