She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Stroud and Nellie Kimmer Stroud; her granddaughter Paige Young; and her brother Carthel Stroud. She is survived by: her children, John Young (Carol), Janis Morgan Bristow, Russell Young (Terry) and Alice Stenstadvold (Ken); her grandchildren, Tyler, Kelly, Jonathan, Ryan, Lindsay, Shelley, Brad, Josh, Sarah, Matthew and Paul; and her close friend Robert Schenck. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lovelady First Baptist Church (229 Read St, Lovelady, TX 75851). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
