It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daisy Ruth Tate in Washington, District of Columbia, born in Gaffney, South Carolina, who passed away on February 23, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Tate; and her siblings, Willie Tate, Leroy Tate, Ida Mae Morgan, Elease Reeder, Juanita Martin and Evelyn Shippy.
She is survived by: her sister Mittie Ruth Tate Barr; and her close friend Mike McKitten. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; cousins.
