He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick L. George and Annie George (Taylor); his wife Rita; his sister Beryl Hurst; and his brothers-in-law, Maurice, Rene and Ronald Lagace.
He is survived by: his children, Alison Leslie Shaw and Paul Emile George; and his son-in-law Brian Shaw. He is also survived by sister, and Anne Lloyd; and 5 nieces and nephews.
