He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Britt, Sr. and Alice Louise Britt; and his sister Alice "Nancy" Hollowell. He is survived by: his daughters, Yolanda L. Britt and Michelle Y. Britt-Allen (Joseph); his wife Willia Grace Britt; his daughters, Delores "Whoopie" Britt-Millhouse (Dana) and Busy Bee; his siblings, Joseph Britt Jr., Tommy Britt (Helen), William "Billy" Britt, Joannie Banks, Rosalind Prince-Fleet (Curtis), Jennifer Britt, Deborah Stewart, Denise Britt, Felicia Sator, Tina Britt and Leslie Britt (LaToya); and his grandchildren, Diamond Price, Jeremiah Price (Buddy), Joseph "Grasshopper" Allen III, Nehemiah Britt, Jordyn "Josephine" Allen, Noah "The Great" Millhouse, Solomon Britt and Lezah "Girlfriend" Millhouse. He is also survived by friends, family, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
