She was predeceased by: her husband Franklin P. Smith. She is survived by: her daughters, Tonya Turner (Leon), Sylvia Romeo (Reggie) and Yolanda Allen; her grandchildren, Tracy Nichols (Darin) and Sierra Trammell; her great grandchildren, Yilaina and Darius Nichols; her sister Edna Mae Green; and her brother-in-law Wayne Smith. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
The lying in state will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saint Phillips Baptist Church (3415 Brinkley Rd, Temple Hills, MD 20748). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
