Dennis Whittlesey Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Dennis Whittlesey of Washington, District of Columbia. Dennis, born on November 26, 1942, passed away on September 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Judge Wesley A. Whittlesey and Louise Hermes Whittlesey; his siblings, Dr. Wesley A. Whittlesey and Nikki Whittlesey Bryant; and his parents-in-law, Suzanne Arnote Holloway and Harry "Bill" Haynes Holloway.
He is survived by: his family Judith Holloway Whittlesey; his children, Kristin Whittlesey of Nashville and Kevin Whittlesey of Boston; and his sisters-in-law, Susan Holloway Torricelli and Mary Holloway Richard (James). He is also survived by nieces and nephews and their children.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Georgetown Presbyterian Church (3115 P St NW, Washington, DC 20007).
