He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Armstrong Joy; and his sister Marian Lois Hathaway. He is survived by: his children, Linda Joy, Katie Ford (Shannon) and David Joy (Offy); his grandchildren, Cameron Ford (Joanna) and Carson Ford (Kimmy); his great grandchildren, Emma Kate Ford and Audrey Ford; and his nephews, Wayne Hathaway (Vicki) and Bruce Hathaway (Ruth).
