He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James Travers Sr. and Eleanor Robinson; his aunt Betty Travers; his uncles, Alford Slacum and Rennard Slacum; Rennard "Hank" Humaine.

He is survived by: his siblings, Michelle Travers of Cambridge, MD, Amber Carter, Emonie Carter, Camelle Newton, Steward Robinson and Jermaine Ringgold; his uncles, Edward Mundy (Deborah), James Travers Jr. (Estella) and Michael Robinson (Beverly); his nephews, Donald Steward Jr. and Damonte Travers; his niece Nishia Jamison; his cousins, Oliver Ennals Jr. and Antwine Ennals, Sr.; and his stepchildren, Wilbur Adams (Minnesota), Shanielle Adams (Princess Anne), Danielle Adams and Lanieller Adams. He is also survived by nine step grandchildren; special friend, Mamie Travers and a host of other relatives and friends.
