She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Shield, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Ellen Shields, Elaine McIver (Bryant), Eileen Roberson (Monty) and Edward Shields, Jr. (Elanor). She is also survived by six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; host of other relatives and friends.
