In the vast expanse of eternity, Dorothy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Dorothy farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her daughter Pamela D. Morgan; her daughters-in-law, Sharon B. Morgan and Brenda Morgan; her granddaughter Shannon C. Morgan; and her great grandchildren, Evan C. and Landon S. Morgan.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Nineteenth Street Baptist Church (4606 16th St NW, Washington, DC 20011). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at the Quantico National Cemetery (18424 Joplin Rd, Triangle, VA 22172).
