It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Plater Stockton (Washington, District of Columbia), who passed away on December 7, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Oswald Plater, Sr. and Bertha Angelica Morgan Plater; her husband John Henry; and her brothers, John and Joseph.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sharman Dyson, Anne Stockton and Jennifer Cunningham (Randall); her grandchildren, James Dyson IV (La Tashia), Maya Little, Nikoli Cunningham and Morgan Cunningham; and her close friend Donnie Little. She is also survived by her family and friends.
