She is survived by: her son Christopher Hamilton (Sonja); her grandchildren, Makayla and Ethan; her siblings, Gloria Short of Greenville and George Grimes (Thelma) of Fayetteville; her niece Valarie Dargan; her nephews, Raymond Short (Veronica), George Grimes, Jr. and Robert Grimes (Keyshanda); and her former husband Raiford Hamilton, Sr.. She is also survived by nieces and nephew; her great-grand niece and nephew.
