She was predeceased by: her parents, James Howard and Dorothy Howard. She is survived by: her children, Stevie Tindle of Upper Marlboro and Sherunda Tindle of Bowie, Maryland; her sister Ruth Bacy of Severn, Maryland; and her goddaughter Tanora Joyner. She is also survived by five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The lying in state was held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Rising Star Baptist Church (1055 Texas St, Rockdale, TX 76567).
