He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Eustaquio and Adriana Pangilinan; his wife Maria Luz; his children, Ernie (Sharon), Krystle (Kevin) and Frances (Matt); his grandchildren, Elisha, Judah Pangilinan, Kyler, Charlie Green and Ryder Shipe; his sister Teresita Stoddard (Ron); and his godmother Lena DeNeal. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
