He is survived by: his wife Pearly M. Hemsley; his children, Angela, William, Majur and Anita (Barbara Jones Hemsley); his grandchildren, Theresa, Gail and Janice; and his sister Margaret Wilkins. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
