It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Geneva Perkins Dickerson of Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away at the age of 96, on April 24, 2024. She was predeceased by : her parents, Will Arthur and Dailey Jefferson Perkins; and her spouse Westley Dickerson Sr.. She is survived by : her children, Patricia Tolliver, Westley Dickerson Jr., Michel Jeter and Kelvin Jeter; and her grandchildren, Kamau, Jermaine, Lesley, Ayo, Kendall, Che, Westley III, Kristian, Tyler and Cierra. She is also survived by Eleven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, loving relatives, and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greater New Hope Baptist Church (816 8th St NW, Washington, DC 20001). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
