She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Buckberg; her parents, Samuel Bean and Fannie Bean; her brothers, Donald Bean (Fahnya) and Kenneth Bean (Anne); and her brother-in-law Morton Buckberg (Yetta).
She is survived by: her daughter Elaine Buckberg; her son-in-law Timothy Helwick; her nephews, Henry Bean (Leora Barish), George Bean (Jane Riskin), Donald Bean, Jr. (Skip), Thomas Bean (Elaine Becker), Douglas Bean (Sue), Philip Buckberg (Roberta), Paul Buckberg (Amy), Perry Buckberg (Stephanie) and Mark Buckberg (Jennifer); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Bradley Bean, Eliza Bean (Max Kitaj), Emily Bean, Ilana Bean, Luke Bean, Max Bean (Tanya Desai), Samuel Bean (Rachel), Sunniva Bean, Emily Buckberg, Jacob Buckberg, Jonas Buckberg, Matthew Buckberg, Michael Buckberg, Millie Buckberg, Mitchell Buckberg, Nathan Buckberg, Paul Hond and Noah Miller.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Adas Israel Congregation (2850 Quebec St NW, Washington, DC 20008). A shiva was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A burial was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the King David Memorial Gardens (2712 Hollywood Rd, Falls Church, VA 22042).
