She is survived by: her siblings, Diane, Portia (Francisco), Debra (James), Rose, Janet, Michael and Reginald (Carolyn); her son James Norwood, Jr. (Denise); her grandchildren, Arshaad, Shakuwra, Qituwra [Marc], Khadija and Kaliym; her husband Joseph M. Simon; and also, Marley, Miles, Rember, Jaqson, Dana, Jamir, Nassiyr, Nikaya and Mariah.
