He is survived by: his child Terrica (Kevin); his grandchildren, Ashley (Kyle) and Briana; his siblings, Louise Kelly, Edna Johnson, Thelma Gibson, Mary Scott, John Gibson (Marian), Thomas Gibson (Jennifer) and Ronald Gibson (Felicia); and his siblings-in-law, Patrice Odom, Theodore Anderson, Jr. (Carolyn) and David Anderson (Darlene).

Viewing was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the East Washington Heights Baptist Church (2220 Branch Ave SE #3340, Washington, DC 20020). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
