With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Howard Columbus Heard of Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on July 14, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Heard and Lucy Williams-Walker; and his sister Mary Jean Heard. He is survived by: his son Dexter Tyrone Jackson-Heard; his daughter-in-law Nicole Jackson-Heard; his grandchildren, Brielle, Camren and Jordan; his daughter Stephanie Melinda Jackson-Heard; his grandchild J'mar; his former wife Mary Jackson-Heard; his sister-in-law Barbara Seaforth; his sibling's children, Sean, Kiffany, Javon and Ryan; and also, Dianne, Mitchell and Toyetta. He is also survived by his family, friends.
