He was predeceased by: his former wife Roberta Rubin; and his son Richard Rubin. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Foer; his sons, Dr. Barry Rubin (Carole) and Sam Rubin (Harriet); his grandchildren, Mia Rubin, Nat Rubin, Mickey Rubin (Rona) and Bobby Rubin (Margo); his stepdaughters, Dana Foer (Craig Vander Kolk), Susan Rigby (Steve) and Debby Goldberg (David); and his stepgrandchildren, Victoria Baker Cain (David Baker), Nicholas Cain (Joselyn), Alex Cain, Madeline Hoffner (Jacob) and Ryan Goldberg. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
