Jacqueline Cole Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacqueline Cole (Washington, District of Columbia), born in Indian Head, Maryland, who passed away on November 21, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Carlyle Waters and Vernice Imogene Key Waters; her brothers, Thomas Waters, Sr. and Gerald Waters, Sr.; and her siblings-in-law, Carrie Cole, Dorothy Waters, Celestine Waters and Wayne Davis.
She is survived by: her husband Oscar Jackson Cole, Jr.; her children, Angela Patrice Cole Dixon (Tony), Martin Cabral Jackson Cole (Michelle) and Lisa Jacqueline Cole Queen (Troy); her sister Lois Davis; her grandchildren, Sala Queen, Mila Queen, Vivienne Cole, Niyah Cole, Christopher Dixon and Rashad Fisher; her brother-in-law Terrell Cole (Melanie); her sibling's children, David Waters, Michael Waters, Kenneth Waters, Gerald Waters, Jr. and Adrienne Davis; and her goddaughter Cheryl Davis. She is also survived by other relatives, cousins, other in-laws, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Metropolitan AME Church (1518 M St NW, Washington, DC 20005). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:20 AM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A repast was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Rock Creek Cemetery.
