She was predeceased by: her mother Lois Nixon; and her brother Clarence Nixon. She is survived by: her daughter Nakita "Nikki" James of Franklin; her siblings, Jacob Nixon (Eunice), Louis Nixon (Karen), Judy Nixon, Karen Weatherspoon, Kay Bratton (Carl) and Jessica Nixon; and her grandchildren, Darius James, Darissa Sanders and Shatina James. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, and a great-great grandson, and a vast family of nieces, nephews, cousins, and life-long friends.
