He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Carson and Lisher Felder Carson; his daughter Ella Mae Carson; his brothers, Joseph Henry Carson and Daniel Carson; and his brother-in-law Casper Riley Jr. of Bowman, SC.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Hampton Carson; his children, Margret Carson Miller of Orangeburg, Jimmy Carson of Orangeburg, Selina Carson Glover (Frankie) of Cope and Perry Carson of Washington, D. C.; his sister Agnes Riley; and his brothers-in-law, Isaiah Zimmerman (Nell) of Orangeburg, SC and James. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 2 great, great, grandchildren and a host of other relatives, church family, and dear friends.
