He is survived by: his grandchildren, Mia, Melissa, Warren and Ellis; his wife Lillian; his children, LaShawn Jones (Warren) of Waldorf, MD and Michael Hilton of Washington, DC; his siblings, Marie Hilton of Washington, DC, William Hilton (Phyllis) of Lithonia, GA, Carolyn Hilton Jones of Augusta, GA and Alfonso Hilton of Washington, DC; his aunts, Nancy B. Thompson of Louisville, GA, Marie Morris and Florine Brantley of Savannah, GA; and his uncle Ed Willie of Louisville, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
