She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edward McCaffrey and Irene Bates; her children, John (Cheryl), William, James (Patricia) and Kathleen (Randall); her husband Charles; her daughter Joanne Engstrom (Stephen); and her sister Cecile Hill (Walter). She was also cherished by 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held when pandemic conditions permit.
