He was predeceased by : his parents, Eddie John McGill and Alice Amelia Milton McGill; his mother-in-law Lorene Campbell; his siblings, Tony McGill, James McGill, Lewis McGill, Eloise McGill Terry and Alice McGill; and his brothers-in-law, Eddie Jenkins and R. K. Stephens John (JW).
He is survived by : his daughter Shana Lorene McGill of Chattanooga, Tennessee; his wife Anita McGill of Fairmont; his stepson Jamal McGill of Manhattan; his sisters, Mary Lou Jenkins of Fairmont, NC, Annie Canery (Mike) of Fayetteville, NC, Jean Ann Faulk (Huel) and Josephine Jacobs of St. Louis, Missouri; and his sisters-in-law, Ruth McGill of Michigan, O'neal Lester of Marietta, Abby McGill of Fairmont and Chris Jacobs of Washington. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
