The passing of John Middleton Jr. (Washington, District of Columbia) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 16, 2025 at the age of 95. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Francis Middleton, Sr. and Mary Price Middleton; and his siblings, Theresa Roche, Lorraine Moulden and Gerald Middleton.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Middleton; his daughters, Carol Taylor, Cheryl Middleton and Kimberly Middleton; his sister Barbara Holman; his sister-in-law Deborah Barnes Middleton; his goddaughter Tiane Doman (Kyle); and his friend Norman Abraham. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, and other cherished family and friends.
A Mass will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 7:00 AM at the Opening the Church. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (1029 Monroe St NE, Washington, DC 20017). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
John also held the distinction of being one of the highest blood donors at the Bureau and was awarded the prestigious Gold Pin Award from the American Red Cross for his exceptional contributions to blood donation.
