It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Thomas Fawcett of Washington, District of Columbia, born in West Branch, Iowa, who passed away on December 10, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Fawcett and Mary Helen Fawcett. He is survived by: his children, Allen Fawcett (Elaine Zimmerman) and Katherine Fawcett (Lee Suggs); his grandchildren, Owen and Noa Fawcett; his siblings, Martha Luke, Ken Fawcett (Helen) and Margie Green (Tom); and his close friend Jacqui Cooper. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Hoover Presidential Foundation and the Boy Scouts of America.
