He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Judith Heimlich; his children, Lisa Weintraub Schifferle (Carl Schifferle) and David Weintraub (Maria Guadalupe); his grandchildren, Kayla Schifferle, Sarah Schifferle and Ricardo Weintraub Hernandez; his former spouse Beneva Brown; and his grandson Ricky. He was also cherished by many loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson Foundation of the National Capital Area (parkinsonfoundation.org) or the US Holocaust Memorial Museum (ushmm.org) Jon was dedicated to social justice, attending the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.
