With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Josephine Stead in Washington, District of Columbia, born in Pasadena, California, who passed away on October 10, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertrude Hamlin (Smith) and John H. Hamlin. She is survived by: her sisters, Cecily Ann and Gwendolen Eleanor; her family Jo; her sisters, Cecily Hamlin Wells (Robert Wells) and Gwendolen Hamlin (Don A. Wilson); her children, Louisa Zai-Ravaris (Paul Ravaris) and Peter Johannes Zai; her grandchildren, Brittney Zai and Lucas Zai; and her daughter Katy Watkins (Jason Watkins).
