She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Lloyd and Laurenteen Lloyd; her brother John Lloyd Sr.; and her nephew John Lloyd Jr.. She is survived by: her son Maurice Cherry; and her siblings, Mildred Allen, Curtis Jr., Laurenteen Stewart (William), Jacqueline LloydDavis (Walter), Helene LloydGarner (William), Matthew Lloyd (Kim) and Willie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Galbraith AME Zion Church (1114 6th St NW, Washington, DC 20001). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
