“Your father/grandfather was such an inspiration. Nothing I can say will take away the pain you’re experiencing. Just know that I care about you, and I share in your sadness. May you look back on the precious memories and find peace in knowing that your father/grandfather raised amazing persons. Almost 60 years ago, I live across the street from him on 8th Street, NW. Later, we bought a house in Takoma NW. Who would have thought we would meet again through his great grandson. - Lois & Nathan”
