He was predeceased by: his parents, Muriel Montavon and Wyman Montavon; his former wife Diane Jordan; and his son Kent K. Kent. He is survived by: his wife Fredda Sparks; his children, Laurie Shellenberger (Sam), Kurt Montavon (Kathleen) and Tiffany Montavon; his grandchildren, Graham Shellenberger, Elise Van Etten, Glenn Shellenberger, James Montavon, Rachel Montavon, Genevieve Montavon, Peter Montavon, Jesse Montavon and Emily Torretto; and his great grandchildren, Weston Shellenberger, Arabelle Van Etten, Griffin Van Etten, Natalie Torretto and Maya Torretto.
