He is survived by: his wife Roslyn; his sons, Lacy Justin (Sheritta) and Joshua Edward; and his grandsons, Bryson Lacy, Evan Xavier and Julian Reece. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Lacy and Roslyn drove from Washington, D. C. to Baltimore each week to help care for and support their grandsons through virtual learning and shower them with donuts—a reflection of the selfless love that defined his life.
