She was predeceased by: her parents, Katie Brevard and John Brevard II; and her siblings, Randolph Brevard, Sr., Ivory Brevard, John Brevard III and Jeroline V. Harvin (Brevard).

She is survived by: her sister Albertha J. Smith; and her godchildren, LaDear Brevard (LaLa), Brandy Ross, Andrea Starkey and Hailey (Starkey). She is also survived by nieces and nephews; grand-nieces and grand-nephews; and great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
