Roland Beres wrote a sympathy message

“Larry was my best friend growing up in Wilmette, IL. He lived across the street from me and we did EVERYTHING together. Worst day of my young life was when he moved away. We got in plenty of ...hijinks over the years. He always had my back and I always had his... no matter what. Friends like that are once in a lifetime. We lost touch when my family moved to Oregon in 76. We never reconnected. I’m deeply saddened to hear of his passing. Lisa and Paul and Amy and Sam, my sincere condolences.”
