She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd David and May Ida Fawley Hale; her husband Lester Joseph "Ted" Routzahn of Jefferson, MD; her sister Evelyn Marie Hale Merchant; her brother-in-law George Merchant; and her nephew Joseph Himes (Marcella).
She is survived by: her sibling's children, Mary Routzahn Handley, Nona Himes Myers and Walter "Buttons" Routzahn; and her great-nieces, Cheryl Himes Hawes (Stanley), Wendy Himes Campbell (Mike) and Karen Himes Ramirez.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Jefferson, MD, The Animal Welfare League of Frederick or Hospice of Frederick County.
