“I only today (March 6th) learned of Larry's passing. The news darkened my day. Larry was a fraternity brother and friend. He was a kind and gentle soul and it was an honor to call him my friend. We used to get together regularly when business would take me to DC -- I tremember one memorable dinner we had at a restaurant he chose at Union Station -- who would've thought? But as time went on and my travel decreased we fell out of touch. Alas. My warmest best wishes to his family. Howard Wainer”
