He was predeceased by: his former wife Geraldine; his sons, Raymond and Joseph "Okwambe"; his sister-in-law Patricia Ann; his niece Eugenia; and his stepdaughter Jackie.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Perry; his children, Brian, Kathleen, Elicia (Marvin), Kevin, Karen and Willie; and his stepdaughters, Elaine and Tameka. He is also survived by grandchildren and fifteen, great-grandchildren.
