Jean Miles wrote a sympathy message

“On behalf of the Miles family we send our condolences to the family of Leon Barnes. Growing up in Valley Green Washington DC Leon was like another older brother to us. He was close friends with our older brother Gary(whom is now in a nursing home) it's going to hard trying to explain this to him. We love and will miss him.”
