He was predeceased by: his son Leonard Vonzell Foote. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline V. Foote; his daughter Tora L. Foote; his grandchildren, Akeera D. Foote and Tameera W. Galloway; and his close friend Carl Jones. He is also survived by cousins and special friend.
After 51 years of service in February of 2019 he was forced to retire due to Parkinson's disease.
