With sadness, we share the passing of Linda Watkins Sorkin of Washington, District of Columbia. Linda, born on July 11, 1942, passed away on August 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Linda for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Jerry Watkins and Frances Kemp Watkins; and her husband Martin Sorkin. She was also cherished by two step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandsons.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Park (2700 Parish Ave, Newport News, VA 23607).
