She was predeceased by: her parents, Benny and Marie; her husband Samuel Young, Sr.; her son Leroy; her siblings, Jessie, John, James, Carlyle, Elize, Inez, Annie, Eunice, Abram, Rayfield and Steg; Robert.
She is survived by: her children, Samuel, Jr. (Regina), Loretta, Stella and Shari (Deondrea); her grandchildren, Shannon, Jamal, Samuel III and Bailey Marie; her great grandchildren, Tamryn, Raven and Emerald; and her sisters-in-law, Shirley and Virginia. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
